Third Round Social begins phased opening

Third Round Social, a new business in Commerce City on the southwest corner of 104th Avenue and Tower Road, will begin a phased opening on Wednesday, Sept. 23, offering coffee and ice cream, but not its full-service kitchen yet. The business is treating Wednesday as a preview opening rather than its formal grand opening. Coffee and ice cream will be available daily while construction continues on the kitchen and remaining areas of the building.

The business owner provided the following anticipated timeline:

• Coffee and ice cream will be available at the preview opening on Wednesday, Sept. 23; open daily thereafter with coffee served from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and ice cream available from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

• Bar and games are expected to open in October

• The function of the full kitchen, along with full occupancy, is expected by late November

The timeline is subject to change as construction progresses.

Because construction remains underway, the building is not yet open for full occupancy. Guest access to the interior will vary depending on construction activity, with safety for guests and staff serving as the priority. Limited indoor seating is expected to be available beginning Wednesday. On days when construction traffic makes indoor access impractical, coffee and ice cream will continue to be available through the service window. Outdoor spaces are expected to be available regularly. The owner anticipates that the interior and designated seating areas will generally be available on weekends, when active construction is not anticipated.

Once construction is complete, Third Round Social plans to offer their full original concept, including a bar, games, full kitchen, and expanded guest areas. A formal grand opening is expected once the full concept and kitchen are operational. This phased approach allows the business to begin serving the community while construction continues toward full occupancy.
