Buffalo Run Golf Course
Buffalo Run Golf Course is an 18-hole course with lush greens, expansive fairways, and picturesque views of the Rocky Mountains all year long. Since 1996, it has offered visitors the complete golf experience from 5 sets of tees that accommodate all levels of golfer to exquisite catering and banquet facilities.
Paradice Island Outdoor Pool
Paradice Island is the city’s outdoor game-themed leisure pool located at the east end of Pioneer Park. A state-of-the-art aquatic facility, the 2-acre center features a 5,000-square-foot leisure pool, three water slides, a 250-foot lazy river, a 1,700-square-foot toddler pool, cabana rentals, and more.
Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge
The Arsenal is a 15,000-acre National Wildlife Refuge adjacent to Commerce City containing prairie, wetland and woodland habitats. The Refuge is a sanctuary for more than 330 species of animals including bison, bald eagles, coyotes, and black-footed ferrets. Visitors each year can experience wildlife viewing, education and interpretive programs, catch-and-release fishing, and 20 miles of hiking trails while at the refuge.
Dicks Sporting Goods Park
The 18,000-seat Dick’s Sporting Goods Park is a soccer-specific stadium in Commerce City and home to the MLS Colorado Rapids. Visitors also enjoy international soccer and lacrosse tournaments, live concerts, and a variety of other sporting events and competitions occurring throughout the year.
