Workforce Statistics

Colorado and metro Denver have some of the nation’s most educated workforces. Colorado is consistently ranked among the top three states for percentage of residents with a bachelor’s degree or higher.

Commerce City’s labor force is 38,000 people strong. 25% have bachelor’s degrees or higher, and many residents hold certificates in the skilled trades. The City has a Workforce Pathway Program in partnership with several regional organizations and educational institutions to help employers connect with talent and develop talent locally.
