Free GED preparation classes funded by the Workforce Pathway Program

Commerce City is proud to partner with Metropolitan State University’s Family Literacy Program to offer FREE GED classes for residents ages 18 and older. This exciting opportunity is part of the city’s Workforce Pathway Program, helping residents build valuable skills for future career and education goals.

Classes are offered in English and Spanish with flexible scheduling options. By committing to attend class regularly and completing the required weekly homework, you can take a big step toward earning your GED, at no cost to you.

The next set of registration dates are on March 16, 17, and 19, with classes starting on the Monday, March 30.

Program Highlights:

  • Hybrid classes in English & Spanish
  • 4 hours of online homework each week using Aztec
  • Childcare provided during class sessions
